I recommend creating new projects outside of this view - in Content Archive pages for specific channels, in the Content Ideas area, or in Project Manager view. Projects can be created here, but this is really just the master database that drives the whole system and lists out EVERY project. The other views are more purpose-driven, and hence more useful.
