Timestamps

We are currently experimenting with using YouTube's chapters feature to add timestamps to certain types of videos.

  • Long, tutorial style videos
  • List-style videos

Currently, we're not using them for essay-style videos.

To use them, simply add timestamps in 00:00 format in the description. Important: The first timestamp should start at 00:00 (this makes the feature work) and be labeled "Introduction".

Make label descriptive, but also curiosity-inducing.

Pinned Comment

Create a pinned comment that guides people to key information and encourages more interaction.

šŸ§ This is a bit of an experimental video topic for me - let me know if you enjoyed it, what I should explain more thoroughly, and what else you'd like me to cover!
