In the PARA methodology, the Archive is a place to store anything that is inactive, or that you’re no longer interested in. Instead of fully deleting things, you can send them to the Archive so they’re safely out of your way - but accessible later on if needed. You can archive Notes, Projects, Goals, Areas, and Resources. Completed Tasks are also shown here.
Tasks are never archived; instead, they can be send to Deferred via either the Someday Smart List status, or by giving them a Snooze date.
