Test mic levels
Check that both co-host levels are peaking between -12db and -6db
Ensure no XLR/power cable crossovers
Camera checks

Input channel 1 for audio
Position shotgun mic for backup audio
Phones on do not disturb
Computer speakers muted
Tell anyone else in house that we’re recording

Add standard effects to host audio files
De-esser

Multi-band compressor - Classic Master
Hard Limiter - limit to -6, no additional fader changes
Intro music included
Subscribe animation included
Social media badges included
Outro music included
Export MP3 version at 192kbps
Export YouTube version using podcast preset (1080p, 10mbps max bitrate)
Publishing
Add ID3 tags for MP3 file
Send sponsor preview files
Upload to ART19
Upload custom artwork if needed
Create timestamps
Create show notes
Test sponsor links in incognito
Upload to YouTube (use video checklist)
