Leadership and Creative Intern | June 2022- August 2022 | Fresh Life Church | Kalispell, MT
As a Leadership Intern I received communication training and was then made to speak publicly, both in-person and on-camera, and effectively communicate interpersonally whether spoken or written. As a Creative Intern I worked with the Adobe Suite as a designer’s assistant and then as a carpenter building the signs that we designed for an event that had over 1,500 attendees.

Attended two practices each week, each lasting two hours, and would compete in local and state-wide competitions. Placed first in the televised South Louisiana Quiz Bowl tournament in the 2018-2019 season.
Ecology Club | President | August - May | 2017-2019 | Two hours per week
As the Ecology Club president, I led the club each week in emptying our school’s recycling bins and changing their bags, loading the bags into the dumpster, and tracking the weight of reclycled material with a spreadsheet. In total, we were responsible for recycling thousands of pounds of plastic and paper material. I was also responsible for organizing local cleanups and buying new water fountains for E.D. White that tracked the amount of plastic saved with the club’s money.

Gymnastics | Founding Member | June 2017 - April 2018 | One hour per week
Five other schoolmates and I began the male gymnastics team at our school. In order to do this, we had to find a gym to practice, secure a coach and faculty sponsor, conduct self-guided practice one hour a week, and meet the state’s reqirements for competition. We competed in the state meet and won state runner-up. I placed 5th in an event and was named an All-State gymnast.

Founded and led two weekly chess club practices. In order to found the club, I had to secure a faculty sponsor and supervisor, write a persuasive essay arguing the need for a chess club, write a donation request for ten chess sets, and successfully recruit roughly 25 members.
