Remind yourself that this is just what hard feels like, it’s nothing more, and that victories are had when things get hard.
    • This reminds me of my time in cross-country. At the end of the race when things would get hard I would allow myself to give up, to slow down. Other people would feel that pain and accelerate their pace. These people had the mindset that it takes to win. At the time I did not.
    • Let this regret sink in. Remember all the other times this exact habit loop would occur within me and how it would make me feel shame and take the easy way out. Accept that that is an option, but that pushing hard when the stimulus of pain hits is another equally as viable option that is proven to lead to success and victory.

    1. Knowing the input-output equation
      1. If you can’t define the inputs and outputs that will get you what you want, then you will have no success because you much know where to begin.
      2. Once you know what the input-output is, then the next question is why aren’t you doing it?
    2. Knowing what you fuel is going to be.
      1. Use whatever fuel you have. Not the fuel you wish you had, such as passion or service, but whatever fuel that can get you going, such as pain or anger.
    3. Once you know these things you can use whatever fuel you have to to get you to do your first input. Once that fist input is complete, you are immediately in the game. You have crossed over. Just keep doing those actions over and over.

    • I want to think about this. I think I have been playing my mother’s game for far too long. The good thing is that her games is a very good one and much closer to the Truth, but I think she values everyone based off of how Christian they are.
