I think it would be a cool creative challenge for on year to make 1 EP a month that would each have four songs (roughly one good song a week). Then, at the end of the year you pick the 12 best songs from the EP’s and make on LP. It would be interesting to see how the styles and feeling change at different times of the year.
Also, part of a challenge like this wouldn’t be to stagnate and just keep making songs in a similar style, but to each month force yourself to learn something new musically and to always be growing.
