Why suffering brings about change.

When the pain of your life increases due to circumstances, it forces you to cut out all of the behaviors that create self-induced suffering. When life isn’t painful you can keep these bad behaviors that cause pain, but when the pain of your life increases you begin cutting out those behaviors as fast as you can in order to minimize your overall suffering.
  • This is the concept, and I think it is strong and true. I just need to work on it and make it a stronger, more concise and beautiful piece of writing.
