I had this idea after hearing Alex Hormozi talk about how God gave Adam a job before he gave him Eve. This reminded me of that weird, revelatory experience I had in a self-induced, hypnotic state when I felt God had basically shown me exactly this: that I needed to begin doing my Work faithfully and diligently.
At the time I was so desperate for love that I would never work. If I would ever sit down to work, I would feel lonely and let my mind wander and think about how I would only be able to work well once I was no longer sad. So, I’d let myself go wander around desperately looking for love or self-medicate with distraction rather than just sitting at my desk and working. These behaviors which seemed to be increasing my chances of finding love, were actually decreasing them. The work was and is the only thing that will attract the proper woman for you into your life.
The point of this video would basically just be to give people this wisdom of the proper order of things. The job comes before the woman. It doesn’t mean you put your job before your woman once you find her. Although in some senses you should, because your work is what “fills your cup” and if you are empty you will have nothing to offer your wife.
