- Listen to the recording of the chapter/dialogue and follow along, pausing when you don't "get" something, and making sure that you understand every word.
3. Listen for phrasing.
- Listen to the recording of the chapter/dialogue and follow along. After each phrase, pause and say that phrase out loud while imitating the pronunciation and expression on the recording.
4. Listen for the big picture.
- Listen to the recording and follow along again without pausing. Marvel at how much you understand!
Repeat any of the steps as often as need be.
